Legend tells that many, many years ago, in the
distant days when the men of the North engulfed
these shores breaking the quiet life of its people,
three sorcerers spelled to end with the Viking
raids.
The threatening Drakkars who defied the winds and storms across the seas to destroy
their villages, would have to grapple with the wrath of the sorcerers MARI ZAHARRA,
MARI, and MARI TXIKI, “The Three Marias”
The first notice to the fearsome sea dragons would come in the form of a mighty
wave with which, Mary Txiki would shake their aircrafts making them change their
course. If the warning was not heeded, it would be Mary, who with the second
and imposing wave would make them sink. If they wouldn’t solve it, either,
a third gigantic wave would sink their ships.
This way it had to happen, and this way it happened: The Drakkars Vikings succumbed
to a huge third wave, Mary Zaharra´s wave, which swallowed them.
However, the most ruthless and fierce dragons of the north coast reappeared,
in the midst of the calm followed the spell of waves. Its threatening silhouette
was drawn in the horizon. With no time to lose, the sorcerers joined their forces
attaking the ship, for a moment, it seemed to resist the onslaught of a huge
proportions wave.
Much later, someone told that the waves that ended with the Drakkars Vikings
were as large as the Swiss Mountains.
Did that last Drakkar really sink? To know the answer you will have to relieve
their experience in the Swiss roller coaster in Mount Igueldo.
What are you waiting for?
